The First Time I felt Love

It started with something so simple — a smile.
We were classmates, sitting two rows apart, sharing nothing more than
occasional glances and silent curiosity. I never thought those small
moments would turn into something that would stay with me forever.
He wasn’t the loudest or the most popular. But there was something calm,
something genuine about him that made me notice. One day, he asked me for
notes. That was the first time we spoke. Just a few words… but my heart
remembered every second of it.
Days turned into conversations. Conversations turned into laughter.
And before I knew it, I was looking forward to seeing him every single day.
There was no confession. No big proposal. Just a quiet understanding
between two hearts that had found comfort in each other.
Our paths changed after school. Life moved on, as it always does.
But that feeling — that pure, innocent love — never really faded.
Even today, when I think about love, I don’t think about grand gestures.
I think about that simple smile… the one that made my heart feel
something for the very first time.
Because first love isn’t always about forever —
sometimes, it’s about feeling something unforgettable.
