It started with a simple “Hi” on a random evening. I didn’t think much of it at first. But somehow, that one conversation turned into hours of talking… and those hours slowly became a part of my daily life.
She lived miles away — in a different city, a different world. We had never met, never seen each other in real life. But strangely, I felt closer to her than anyone else.
We shared everything — our dreams, fears, silly jokes, and even our silent moments. There were nights we stayed awake just to talk, and days when we missed each other even without ever having met.
But long distance isn’t easy.
There were moments of doubt, days filled with overthinking, and nights when all we wanted was to be next to each other. Sometimes, a text wasn’t enough. Sometimes, a call couldn’t replace a hug.
Yet, we chose to stay.
We learned patience. We learned trust. We learned that love is not about being physically close, but emotionally connected.
And then, after months of waiting, the day finally came.
Seeing her for the first time felt unreal. No screen, no distance — just her, standing right in front of me. In that moment, every late-night call, every missed moment, every bit of distance… felt worth it.
Because love doesn’t count miles.
It counts the effort, the trust, and the choice to stay — even when it’s hard.
